Lady Rowena Velvet Medieval Dress

One of the most beautiful dresses we have ever made. It's made of velvet and decorated with exclusive trim especially designed for this dress. Trimming is embroidered with beads and tiny pearls along neck slit, sleeves and front accents. Also it is decorated with fur.

Velvet is stretchy which makes this dress more slim-fitting. Also there is front lacing which gives us extra flexibility when making it for custom size.

This gown has no historical prototype, however the silhouette and the style of finishing corresponds to the latter half of the XIVth century. As the inspiration of the pattern is the fit of the Norman dress from the Greenlandic excavation was taken, which has been dated from that particular period.

It's recommended to be worn over a chemise, we have an exclusive chemise which fits perfectly with this dress, the Rowena Chemise, but you can use any one you already have if you wish, chemise is not included .
